In general I was very satisfied with this contractor. He took pains to be thorough and clear in setting forth the scope of work and payment schedule. He took great pride in his work, was a creative problem-solver, was knowledgeable about and rigorously conformed to legal requirements and, for my mother’s sake, let us stay in our home as long as possible. The remodel took longer than I had been led to expect, but I was very satisfied with the quality of the work.
Cary Goff and his team deserve high accolades for their high standards and quality of work. The prospect of remodeling my entire house was daunting given all the stories surrounding such undertakings. The bid was very realistic, and the allowances accurately covered the cost of the cabinetry, hardware etc. Once the remodel was underway, I kept adding to the scope which Cary patiently executed. The quality of the work was superb and no shortcuts were taken. 1.5 years later I’m still totally satisfied with every aspect of it. Another important factor in the post remodel phase are the subcontractors that were involved. I find them to be top notch as well and will continue to use them for my plumbing, electrical etc needs. I really enjoyed working with Cary and Linda. All in all – 5 Stars!!
Goff Development/ Cary was incredible. He spent every day commuting to the Santa Cruz Mountains to rebuild our home which was destroyed from the CZU fire. He was professional and committed to our complex rebuild. His skills and knowledge of all phases of the rebuild were so impressive and I highly recommend him!!!! We are back home in a beautiful new home thanks to Goff Development/ Cary.
Cary took on a very difficult fire rebuild project and took care of everything. He was at the project site every day until it was completed. Among one of the things he found were mistakes in the plans and got the structural engineers to fix them. I highly recommend him for any project you have.
My home was destroyed from the CZU wildfires. Cary Goff was wonderful to work with on my complex and challenging rebuild. Cary walked me through the process, took over dealing with Santa Cruz Planning Dept. and keeping me in the loop every step of the way. Unfortunately, due to several geologic issues of the property, I made a decision not to rebuild my home. I have relocated and purchased a brand new home in Hollister. Cary is dependable and I would not hesitate to recommend Goff Development & Design Co/Cary Goff to anyone looking to build or remodel.
